There are always mixed emotions when it's time to pull down the shutters on another season. There's a strong sense of achievement over what has passed and an equally strong sense of anticipation over what we will face in the future. It's been a super season. The squad has made great progress as individuals and as a unit. The numbers have increased dramatically. Successful Tour to Oxford. We bade farewell to Ben Sanderson after Christmas and we wish him well in Wales. We have had so many new Arrivals. 13 in all. I hope they have all felt welcome and are looking forward to many seasons at SRUFC. I should make mention of the presentation night and the recipients of the various awards if only that I will then have a record of who got which gong next year! We also had a super game with Manchester that night, well refereed by Andy Daniels.

Finally a few thank you's. Firstly and mainly to Gillian Stone for all her hard work in organsing everything and of course for arranging the Oxford Tour.
