With their best all round display of the season Stockport completed a comprehensive 7 try victory over Bradford and Bingley. Despite struggling in the early scrums the Stockport forwards dominated loose play and had 100% in their line out, while the backs did much at pace and their passing was very slick, both units supported each other well. Bradford and Bingley never gave up and scored two converted tries and a penalty to make the final score 46-17.

Stockport started well and charged down a kick in the first minute and Josh Longmore was just unable to get a touchdown. After just 10 minutes a move down the right was taken into midfield and prop Elliott Millar-Mills made the ball available for the next phase to go left and Dan Eccles got the first of his 2 tries after an inside pass from Myles Hall. A second try followed with Kieran Hibbs making a strong run and passing to wing Milan Jirman, who timed his pass perfectly to give Mark Edwards a try, Josh Longmore converted before adding a penalty 5 minutes later for 15-0. The visitors had a good period resulting in a try for their second row, which was converted but Stockport responded strongly and a penalty came back off the posts. Just before half time another sweeping movement with a strong run by Jirman and another excellently timed pass gave Hibbs a try, Longmore converted. Bradford and Bingley scored a penalty to make it 22-10 at half time.

Eccles got his second try a few minutes into the new half after a grubber kick from Greg Newton, Longmore was again on target. The visitors scored a try from a ruck 5 metres out from the Stockport line to make it 29-17. Some excellent quick passing gave second row Alistair Green a try, which was converted. With 5 minutes to go substitute wing Jack Wilson scored a try after Newton had committed the defenders and just before the final whistle Hall ran in for a try after a well timed pass from second row Chris Roddy, with no conversion the final score was 46-17. Stockport remain second above Sale on points difference.
