Stockport made the long journey to Westoe and despite going 10-0 down in the first 20 minutes came home with a 44-17 win to go into 3rd place in the table. The wind was blowing strongly and Westoe played with it and the slope in their favour in the first half. Stockport defended well for most of the half and succeed in scoring two tries to make it 10-10 at half time, a good result given the conditions. There were 2 yellow cards for each side in the first half. Stockport scored early in the second period and went on to add 6 tries in the half to secure a bonus point win.

With kicking for goal very difficult Westoe missed an early penalty but were on the score board after 15 minutes. Wing Joe Cantwell was yellow carded for a high tackle and Westoe took the line out option and drove over for the try. Just minutes later a poor Stockport pass was knocked on and Westoe took advantage with a hack ahead and the fly half won the chase to touch down. Stockport replied immediately with a line out drive and good recycling for hooker Paul Melia to get the touch down. With Cantwell back on Westoe lost their centre to a yellow card, Stockport took advantage as the ball was held up over the line. An excellent scrum with the Stockport front row dominant the ball was well controlled at 8 by Dan Eccles and he got the touch down. The half ended with the Westoe centre yellow carded for a tip tackle, Dan Eccles joined him in the sin bin for taking retribution and the penalty was reversed and the score was 10-10 at half time.

Stockport, with the wind and slope with them dominated the second half, after just two minutes there was a classic try with the forwards driving down the right and the ball moved along the backs for Myles Hall to score. The exercise was repeated 3 minutes later and this time it was left to right and Cantwell got the try. Hall added his second after he set off on a run from halfway, kicked ahead and beat the defenders for the touch down, Josh Longmore landed the first of only 3 successful kicks at goal by either side. Alistair Green then scored from a line out drive from 10 metres out. On 35 minutes Westoe had a revival and a break down the right was recycled and Stockport ran out of defenders on the left and the wing scored a try that the 10 converted, to make it 32-17. Cantwell added his second try after more good passing by the backs on 40 minutes and in the 8th minute of overtime a kick through by Gregg Newton gave substitute centre Milan Jerman his first try for the team, Longmore converted with the last kick of the game.
