Stockport Rugby Club's homegrown utility back Tom Curtis will make his 2nd start for Sale Sharks U18s v Wasps U18 this Saturday. Tom, aged just 16, favours the no 10 shirt but also plays 12,13, & 15 for his school team, Sedbergh, so is extremely versatile in the back line. Tom also started at 15 last weekend v Leicester tigers where sale narrowly lost 12-6.

Tom said “I’m delighted to be getting starts at this level when I am the youngest in the squad , I prefer playing 10 and getting my hands on the ball but there is an older quality 10 in front of me in Kieran Wilkinson so I’m happy to play along side him and improve my game by playing with older players, Leicester closed us down a lot so the backs didn’t get any ball but hopefully against wasps tomorrow we can show what we are capable of in our back line as we can play very fast in attack“.

The match kicks off is 1pm at Broadstreet RUFC if you want to see Tom in action.
