Paul was a member of the club in the 60's and early 70's and played first/second team.
To say he was a character is an understatement. He was a 'gifted tourist' and lived life to the full . Some members may be familiar with the bear carving !
He moved away due to business commitments and lived in Wrexham for a while and later became a director of a finance company ending up in Heathfield in Sussex.

He was offered early retirement and became JP. He became deeply involved with a charity that helped with debt management.

He maintained his connections with us by being a regular visitor to Glengarth Sevens and his adopted Club Heathfield and Waldron, of which he became President, came on tour a couple of times.
