Hot on the heels of our accreditation as an O2 Touch Venue and the well received Welcome Ceremony for the Argentina U20s squad, we have also reached the fabulous milestone of £1000 raised on the Easyfundraising initiative.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to all members who have supported this scheme and have helped to reach this fantastic amount. As a reminder for those who have not started to use the initiative, this is a simple way to raise funds that doesn't cost you or the club anything. Every penny you spend online can generate a donation to the club and you find more information about it here.

The process is simple: Register through the club website (Click on Shopping, then Easyfundraising) and follow the instructions. Activate your donations each time you shop and the club will receive a donation.

The majority of online retailers are part of the initiative and we have the following hints to make it easier and maximise your donations:

1) Always go via http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/ or the mobile app and your donations will be automatically activated.

2) In case you forget or you want to miss out the above stage, you can download the Donation Reminder which pops up an automatic reminder to activate your donations when you visit your favourite online retailers.

3) There are a number of other ways to generate donations through surveys, referring a friend and mailing lists. You can also add details to ensure your in store purchases can also generate donations. Details on these bonus donations can be found on the Easyfundraising website.

4) Many business make online purchases and if you are responsible for purchasing in your company or know who is, please invite them to join the initiative and all those business purchases will also provide donations to the club.

In summary, there is no catch, it takes a minute to sign up and it costs the club and the shopper nothing! Every purchase you make without Easyfundraising or an similar initiative means a good cause is missing out on a free donation. We recommend that everyone signs up for one of these causes and starts generating donations!
