Tom Curtis of Stockport RUFC , Sale Sharks academy and Sedbergh school has just received some fantastic news having been called up for the England U17/18 training camp later this month in Leeds.

Tom received the news by phone call from his Sale academy coach on his first day at Sedbergh School last Wednesday and is naturally delighted at the chance to be able to go and train with the England youth set up. Tom worked extremely hard over the summer on his game and fitness to ensure he had a good pre season with the Sharks academy u18s and it has now paid off with this opportunity.

Tom only started playing rugby age 11 at Stockport and originally started in the back row before moving in to the backs. His favoured position is 10 but he also plays at 12&13.
